Queens Prayer Movement
We work towards restoring women to God through the Word, prayer, and empowerment while reaching out to the street community with love and support.
What is Queens Prayer Movement International?
Queens Prayer Movement International is a Christ-centered prayer movement founded by Pastor Winnie Muiruri in 2018. It was established in response to a clear call from God to raise and extend a living altar of prayer among women locally and across the nations.
The name Queens speaks to identity. Biblically, it reflects who women are in Christ—chosen, set apart, and called to reign in life through Him. And that makes us believe every woman is a daughter of the King, carrying spiritual authority that is awakened through prayer.
This women’s prayer movement is guided by the Word of God and scriptures that call believers to pray without ceasing, stand in the gap, and seek God wholeheartedly.
Our prayers include intercession, fasting, altar prayers, prophetic prayer, and Spirit-led warfare. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their operation according to Scripture. Everything we practice remains Christ-centered and Bible-based.
Is Queen Prayer Movement International a Church?
This international women’s prayer movement is not a church. The ministry is interdenominational, welcoming women from all Christian backgrounds who desire a deeper walk with Christ. Young women, married women, single mothers, widows, and daughters finding their way in Christ all belong here.
You do not need to be in Kenya to join. Women from different nations pray with us and grow with us. Whether you are just learning how to pray or you are a seasoned intercessor, there is room for you at this altar.
We gather regularly for prayer, both online and in person. Some meetings are virtual to allow women from different regions to join. We also host fasting programs, prayer challenges, and intentional prayer altars. From time to time, we hold conferences, retreats, and fellowships designed to deepen faith and strengthen community.
We also have community platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp groups you can join. Distance is never a barrier when hearts are united in prayer.
How Do I Join the Women’s Prayer Movement?
Joining Queens Prayer Movement International is simple and free. You can join us through our Facebook page and WhatsApp groups, where we meet online 3 times a week for prayers, sermons, and empowerment. In these platforms, you are encouraged to grow spiritually, live prayerfully, and walk in love and unity. If you feel called by God and gifted, you can also serve in leadership, intercession teams, outreach, or mentorship.
How is Queens Prayer Movement Funded?
The ministry is supported through partnership, volunteering, and giving. Donations help fund outreach initiatives, feeding street families, mentorship programs, and ministry operations. Funds are used with purpose, transparency, and compassion. Queens Prayer Movement operates with accountability and is committed to stewarding resources faithfully.
If you are seeking a place to grow, pray, heal, and belong, this altar is for you. Here, women rise as queens. Not by title, but by surrender, prayer, and faith in God

Queens Prayer Movement International Founder
Pastor Winnie Muiruri is the founder and visionary leader of Queens Prayer Movement International. She is a devoted servant of God, a prayer warrior, mentor, and teacher of the Word.
Her calling flows from a deep compassion for women and a strong belief that when a woman prays, God answers.Â
Through her obedience and leadership, many women have experienced healing, restoration, breakthrough, and renewed purpose—both spiritually and physically.
Pastor Winnie’s ministry is rooted in service. Just as Jesus ministered to both spiritual and physical needs, she leads QPM in reaching street families in Nairobi by providing food, prayer, and hope.Â
Under her leadership, women, youth, and teens continue to discover their identity in Christ and rise into their God-given destinies.

What Queens Prayer Movement International Does
Queens Prayer Movement School of Prayer
Mercy Ministry
Following this example, at Queens Prayer Movement International, we minister both spiritually and physically. We pray for the sick, bringing healing and deliverance, and we also feed the hungry. Every Tuesday and Thursday, and at the end of each month, we provide food to street families in Nairobi. Through this act of love, we demonstrate the compassion of Christ and remind others that faith without works is dead.
