Queens Prayer Movement is a Christ-centered ministry founded by Pastor Winnie Muiruri in 2018 with a divine mission: to raise and extend a Godly altar of prayer amongst women both locally and internationally.

We believe that when a woman prays, God answers. Our teachings are rooted in the Word of God, helping women grow spiritually, live purposefully, and walk in the power and authority that comes from knowing Christ.

At Queens Prayer Movement, we:

Teach the Word of God to build strong, faith-filled women.
Raise prayerful women who intercede for families, communities, and the nation.
Empower women spiritually and emotionally.
Reach out to people in need by feeding street families.
Mentor girls and young women to live pure, purposeful, and God-centered lives through prayer, evangelism, and soul-winning.

Queens Prayer Movement Fouder: Pastor Winnie Muiruri

Pastor Winnie Muiruri is the visionary and founder of the Queens Prayer Movement, a ministry she established in 2018 out of a deep passion to see women restored, empowered, and walking in their divine purpose.

She is a devoted servant of God, a prayer warrior, mentor, and teacher of the Word.

Pastor Muiruri believes that when a woman prays, God answers, and through her ministry, countless women have experienced healing, breakthrough, and transformation—both spiritually and physically.

Her calling is rooted in compassion and service. Just as Jesus had mercy on the multitudes, healing and feeding them, Pastor Muiruri leads the Queens Prayer Movement in reaching out to the needy. Through Queens prayer movement she provides food, spiritual nourishment, and hope street families in Nairobi.

Also through her leadership, many women, youth, and teens have discovered their identity in Christ, restored broken relationships, and found strength to pursue their God-given destinies.

She continues to inspire women to rise in prayer, embrace the Word of God, and live out their faith boldly in every area of life.

Queens Prayer Movement Departments

Queens Prayer Movement School of Prayer

Our teachings are founded on nothing else but the Word of God — the Bible. We believe in women and their ministry, and through our teachings, we raise women who are strong in faith, purpose, and prayer. Just as God used Deborah, a judge and prophetess who led Israel with wisdom and courage (Judges 4–5), He continues to use women today to bring transformation in families, churches, and nations. By following our teachings God can use you too

Mercy Ministry

Matthew 14:14–21, Jesus had compassion on people. He healed the sick and fed all congregation. The Word of God also commands us to show mercy to the needy and feed the poor. (Proverbs 19:17). Following this example, at Queens Prayer Movement, we minister both spiritually and physically. We pray for the sick, bringing healing and deliverance, and we also feed the hungry. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, and at the end of each month, we provide food to street families in Nairobi. Through this act of love, we demonstrate the compassion of Christ and remind others that faith without works is dead.

PRAYING GALS MOVEMENT

In this era the enemy is destroying the lives of our children through drugs, alcohol, sexual immorality, and occult practices. As a parent don't remain silent. Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). This movement focuses on girls and young women aged 13 to 30 years. Through this initiative, we teach them the Word of God, train them to pray effectively, and equip them to engage in soul winning and evangelism.

Queens Meeting

Every first Saturday of the month, women gather for a powerful time of praise, worship, and prayer. During these meetings, we call on God together, seek His presence, and intercede for our families, nation, and the Body of Christ. After the prayer session, we extend God’s love by sharing food and essentials with the needy.

Praying Gal Movement

Our Prayer Gal Meetings are held on the last Saturday of every month. During these gatherings, young women come together to fellowship, pray, and strengthen their faith. We also engage in fun, evangelism and soul-winning, reaching out to the community with the love of Christ
